About QRBench
QRBench exists because searching for "best QR code generator" returns pages written by the vendors themselves, each ranking itself first. We wanted the resource that didn't exist: one benchmark, one public scoring grid, applied identically to every tool.
Who runs QRBench
QRBench is run by Benjamin Turc, a French entrepreneur who works in the QR code industry. He built the site's scoring grid, runs the hands-on tests behind the reviews, and follows the market week by week: pricing moves, product releases, and the standards work reshaping the category, from GS1 Digital Link to the retail QR transition planned for 2027. QRBench is the benchmark he wanted to read and could not find.
QRBench Editorial is the site's collective byline; the testing and editing behind it is his work. You can reach him on LinkedIn or X, or by email at hello@qrbench.com.
Editorial policy
- Every score follows the published methodology: same grid, same weights, for every tool.
- Each criterion states its evidence source and scope. Scores needing further verification are labeled provisional.
- We never publish a claim we cannot source: no invented statistics, no unverifiable review counts.
- Reviews are written by QRBench Editorial. We do not use fabricated author personas.
- Pages display their publication date, last update, and when the underlying data was verified.
Corrections
Factual errors get fixed, and the fix gets dated on the page. Report anything at hello@qrbench.com.
